Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in Beijing on Tuesday.
In his remarks at the meeting, Xi calls for full respect for sovereignty, security, territorial integrity of countries in Middle East, Gulf region
“Sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of countries in the Middle East and Gulf region should be fully respected, and the safety of personnel, facilities, and institutions of all countries should be effectively safeguarded”, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.
He also advocates building common, comprehensive, cooperative, sustainable security architecture for Middle East, Gulf region.
The Chinese President further puts forward a four-point proposal on promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.
The proposal includes: adherence to the principle of peaceful coexistence, adherence to the principle of national sovereignty, and adherence to the principle of international rule of law, and adherence to the coordination of development and security.
