Former NAN MD, Niboro Appointed Spokesman of Tinubu Presidential campaign Council

Former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ima Niboro has been appointed as one of the spokespersons of the Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general election.

The veteran journalist’s appointment comes as part of efforts to further bolster the campaign communications team led by Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, along side Minister of Information and National Orientation as Co-chairman.

Before his appointment as NAN chief, Niboro served as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity under former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

In private capacity, Niboro also had a stint at Bellagio Airlines as its Executive Director in charge of Government Affairs.

Other members of the communications team include Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga; Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman; and National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka.

A consummate communications professional, Niboro possesses years of experience in high-end roles in private and government affairs.

He is currently the publisher and chief executive officer of the Keeping Them Honest daily (KTH), an on-line newspaper. GSF)
