An unidentified person broke into the Cuban embassy building in Brufut, The Gambia, and stole valuables, the country’s police press service reported.
According to the police report, security officials promptly responded to the scene, where preliminary investigations indicate that an unidentified man unlawfully gained entrance into the embassy building and carted away valuables.
However, the report did not specify what exactly was stolen from the embassy.
Meanwhile, investigation is ongoing as Gambian law enforcement agencies are working to identify the suspect and unravel the incident.
