The following are the schedules for the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC) and the fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Monday.
At 9 a.m., the fourth session of the 14th NPC will hold its second plenary meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
NPC deputies will hear a work report of the NPC Standing Committee to be delivered by Zhao Leji, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, a work report of the Supreme People’s Court (SPC) to be delivered by SPC President Zhang Jun, and a work report of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP) to be delivered by SPP Procurator-general Ying Yong.
NPC deputies will also deliberate on a report of the NPC Standing Committee on the work of the overhaul of laws and the proposed handling of certain laws and decisions.
In the afternoon, they will hold group meetings to review the NPC Standing Committee’s work report and its report on the work of the overhaul of laws and the proposed handling of certain laws and decisions.
In the morning, CPPCC National Committee members will sit in the plenary meeting of the NPC.
In the afternoon, they will hold group meetings to discuss work reports of the top court and the top procuratorate, and review other documents. (BRNN/GSF)
