China’s 6G research and development has completed the first phase of technical trials, forming a reserve of more than 300 key technologies, and has recently launched the second phase of 6G technical trials, an official of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on Wednesady to introduce the achievements in industrial and information technology development in 2025.
Meanwhile, China’s declared 5G standard-essential patents currently account for 42 percent of the global total, the official said. (BRNN/GSF)
