Product description During operation and measurement, place the instrument on the object being measured, parallel to the warp and weft yarns of the fabric. Adjust the lens height to achieve the clearest image. Hold the top surface of the instrument cube with your left hand and rotate the adjustment knob with your right hand until the lens graduations are aligned with the zero position. Then reverse the adjustment knob to count the number of warp and weft yarns per unit length.
