The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) in. Katsina State, has commended Gov. Dikko Radda for reviewing the private and community schools operational policy.
The commendation is contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen on Wednesday in Katsina by its Chairman, Mansur Sani Jibia.
The Chairman in the statement, said the review will re-position private and community schools to uplift the standard of education in the state.
“We assure the government of our readiness to comply with the state’s extant laws and regulations.
“We would also work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen the state’s education sector in line with the governor’s ‘Building Your Future’ agenda,” he said.
Jibia, equally appreciated the members of the state House of Assembly for its critical role in the review process.
He added,”We recognise the fatherly role played by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdullahi Garba Faskari, in handling the negotiation between us and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.”
