The Federal University Dustin-Ma (FUDMA) Katsina State, has admitted about 7,000 students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The acting Vice-Chancellor (V-C) of the university, Prof. Aminu Ado, disclosed this during the matriculation of the new students in Dutsin-Ma on Monday.
The vice-chancellor further said that the matriculation ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the new students’ academic journey.
“A journey that will undoubtedly filled with challenges, triumphs, and endless opportunities for growth and learning milestone to you and indeed to your parents.
“This is because, out of more than 15,000 announced during its 14 matriculation exercise, candidates who applied to this university, you are today among the few successful ones.
“Therefore, I share with you the joys of joining FUDMA,” the V-C said.
He added that the vision of the University is to be a ‘Top Ranking, World-Class University’, committed to excellence in research and the production of a generation of leaders with passion to service.
“Let me assure you that this university is configured to produce excellent graduates that will transform future societies and demonstrate competitive posture among Nigeria Universities.
“The university places unwavering attention and focus on academic excellence through effective teaching and learning,” Ado emphasised.
He urged the students to strive for academic excellence with unwavering determination and dedication.
“Your hard work and commitment to your studies will not go unnoticed, and the university will continue to provide support and recognition for those who excel in their academic pursuits,” he assured.
