Egyptian strongman Ashraf Mahrous, also known by his nickname Kabonga, moved 20 cars in an attempt to set a new world record, Africanews reported, citing the athlete.
Representatives of the Guinness World Records were not present at the event, but Mahrous said he would submit video footage and photographs of his attempt for verification.
“I will upload all the photos, videos and links to Guinness World Records to document this tremendous event,” Mahrous said.
The current record for the most cars pulled belongs to Kevin Fast, who moved 15 cars in 2014.
In March this year, Mahrous received official recognition from Guinness World Records in three categories, including for moving a 279-tonne train a distance of 10 metres and 66 centimetres.
