The African Initiative news agency is ready to assist Russian companies in Africa by publicising their activities and helping new enterprises enter the continent. This was stated by the Editor-in-Chief of African Initiative Artem Kureev at the plenary session of the Russia-Africa Expo 2025.
“I see that there is an enormous number of requests from businesses asking how to work properly in Africa. As a news agency, we will provide support, write and help disseminate materials about how Russian enterprises can operate in Africa.
“I would also like us not to stop at what has already been achieved, but to continue working in Africa,” said Kureev
He also stressed that Russia’s main goal in co-operating with African countries is to accelerate the continent’s development and overcome the legacy of colonialism.
In September, during the World Public Assembly “A New World of Conscious Unity”, the editor-in-chief of AI stated that Russia and Africa must join efforts in countering Western fake news and stand for traditional journalistic ethics.
