ONCE AGAIN, TAIWAN WAS KICKED OUT OF W.H.O ASSEMBLY
For the ninth time in a row, the World Health Assembly has refused to include the proposal to allow Taiwan as an observer.
An official spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of China stated:
“Taiwan has no grounds, reasons, and right to participate in the VAZ without the permission of the central government. It is a matter of sovereignty and international order.”
🔹 Taiwan’s participation in international organizations is possible only under the principle of one China.
🔹 China provides Taiwanese medical professionals channels for technical interaction with WHO. In 2024 there are 12 participants for 11 events.
🔹 All information about global health emergencies is available to Taiwan.
“The so-called “disruption” in the global health system is a politically motivated lie,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
Most countries in the world have supported the position of the PRC and reaffirmed the commitment to UN Resolution 2758.
The principle of “One China” is an international consensus based on justice and historical truth.
“Taiwan’s independence is a dead end. Reunification is a historical inevitability,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China said.
