The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced an upward review of the cost of obtaining the Nigerian Standard Passport effective September 1, 2025. According to a statement signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, ACI AS Akinlabi, 32-page passport with 5-years validity will now cost N100,000 while 64-page with 10-years validity will cost N200,000 respectively.
Akinlabi in the statement said the hike was aimed at upholding the quality and integrity of the Nigerian passport. The new fees will apply only to applications made within Nigeria.
